To say I am a little bit concerned about doing 200kms over 2 days is a bit of an understatement.  I know I can manage bigger rides but the next day I normally need a big sleep in and the last thing I am thinking about is another ride.  Oh well I guess will see how it goes.  First step is to raise the money.

Today I did my Saturday morning ride with the Armadale Cycles group.  It was a hill ride.  An overweight bugger like me the only thing I am good at with hills is rolling down them.  So when we do the Canning dam Ride we start straight off with a hill.  Doing a hill with no warm up is extremely painful but at least at the top you know you have done some work.

The main hill climb up Albany Highway to Canning Dam I am placed at 79th of 95 People in Strava.  Just goes to show how bad I actually am.  Oh well you can but improve.

Ok another attempt to start a blog.  Moira has just signed me up to the Ride to Conquer Cancer.  

I will update everyone here as to the progress and also try and hopefully convince you all to donate to get me over the $2,500 required for me to do the ride.
